Mass Intentions

FIND OUT WHICH MASSES ARE AVAILABLE AND REQUEST THEM  ONLINE 

We are happy to introduce our new, online system for requesting masses to be offered for your special intentions by our Oratorian Fathers here at St. Paul and St. Ann’s. We hope its convenience will encourage you to take advantage of this beautiful custom.

The sacred practice of offering a mass for a loved one, living or deceased, or for a special intention is an ancient one, dating back to the early Church. When a priest offers his celebration of the Eucharist for a particular person, he applies the special graces that flow from the Sacrifice of the Mass upon that person. For example, masses are commonly offered for the repose of the soul of a someone who has died, as a spiritual gift for someone’s birthday or anniversary, for a special need, or in thanksgiving for a favor received.  It’s customary to make a donation at the time the mass is requested to help supply the things necessary for mass and for the support of the priests who offer it.

The site is secure and the process is easy and intuitive. Now you can be sure that any names will be spelled correctly, since you'll be entering the information yourself. The calendar shows masses for the next 180 days.

If you wish, you can still schedule masses the traditional way by calling the rectory (845-268-4464). You can make your donation over the phone by credit card, or come in with cash or a check.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS 

Click on the link below. 

(Scroll down a bit on the page that appears)

Select the church:  St. Paul or St. Ann.

Chose the date you want in the calendar.
Green =  mass available; Red = all masses booked for that day; 
White = masses not on the calendar yet, or there’s no mass that day

Choose the mass time you want on the Intention Form page. Then complete the rest of the Form. Click Continue.
Use the Description line for a note like Birthday or Anniversary 

NOTE: THE SUNDAY 11:50 AND 11:55 TIME SLOTS ARE NOT MASSES!  THESE ARE WHAT YOU CHOOSE IF YOU'D LIKE TO RESERVE THE SANCTUARY LAMP. SEE BELOW.

Review the Mass Summary and Intention details. Click the Confirm & Proceed button.

Complete the Payment page. Then click “I am not a robot.” Click the green Submit Payment button.

On the next page, you will see your transaction number and a notification that your payment has been approved.

You will receive two emails: a receipt and a digital mass card.

To reserve a Sanctuary Lamp

Click on a Sunday date.
For St. Paul, choose the 11:55 time.
For St. Ann click the 11:55 for the church; 11:50 for the chapel.
Under Description, type in Sanctuary Lamp

YOU WILL NOTICE THAT THE FORM YOU ARE FILLING IN REFERS TO A "MASS." HOWEVER, BE ASSURED YOU ARE NOT ORDERING A MASS. YOU ARE RESERVING THE SANCTUARY LAMP FOR THE WEEK BEGINNING WITH THE SUNDAY YOU CHOOSE.

You  will also receive an immediate confirmation, email receipt, and a digital mass card.
